Ormat Technologies (ORA) announced that Ormat subsidiary, Puna Geothermal Venture ("PGV"), completed the re-drilling of an existing production well at the Puna Geothermal Project (the "Puna Project") located on the Big Island, Hawaii. The well re-drilling increased net generating capacity of the power plant by approximately 4 MW, bringing total net generating capacity to approximately 29 MW.

ENDESA (ELE) will have 21.5 MW of new wind capacity in the region of Castilla y Leon once its cogeneration and renewable energy subsidiary (ENDESA Cogeneracion y Renovables: ECYR) completes the construction of the Valpardo wind farm in the town of Navalperal de Pinares (Avila), located in the central part of the Malagon mountain range. The farm is scheduled to start up at the end of this year.

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc (QTWW) announced that the company has been added to the Russell 2000® and Russell 3000® indexes. The newly reconstituted Russell indexes became effective at the close of the U.S. markets on June 24, 2005. Quantum is one of approximately 31 technology companies added to the index this year.

Ballard Power (BLDP), DaimlerChrysler AG, ("DaimlerChrysler") and Ford Motor Company ("Ford") have signed an agreement for the previously announced sale of Ballard's German subsidiary, Ballard Power Systems AG ("BPSAG"), to DaimlerChrysler and Ford. This deal will give Ballaard some much needed cash and will allow them to focus on research and fuel cell development.

Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGLPF) reported that exploration work at the Pumpernickel Geothermal Project (5710 acres/8.92 square miles) is underway. In Phase I - 3D "E-SCAN", resistivity survey methods will be utilized to map the deep geothermal source waters feeding surface hot springs. Results are expected in four weeks. Subsequently a series of six 250-meter (820 foot) gradient wells will be drilled to test the interpretation of the E-SCAN survey.

Fuelcell Energy Inc (FCEL) announced the sale of a 250-kilowatt DFC300MA(TM) power plant to improve availability of reliable electricity to help a U.S. training center meet security requirements and cope with fluctuating power needs that can triple from one season to the next. The U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), at Twentynine Palms, Calif., provides year-round instruction to ensure continued readiness of trainees from all branches of the armed forces.

SatCon Technology Corporation (SATC) announced that its first deliveries of its new line of hybrid electric auxiliary components have been incorporated into Azure Dynamics Corporation's (TSX: AZD, AIM: ADC) electric and hybrid electric vehicles ("HEVs").

Universal Communication Systems Inc (UCSY) announced the execution of a new agreement with HELIOCOL (US). (www.Heliocol.com), granting them distribution rights for the US market for our unique range of Millennium Brand PV Solar Panels and related products. In addition, the agreement calls for HELIOCOL to purchase up to 200KW this year and 500kw early next year, for up to $2.5 million in value of PV Solar Energy Panels for the US market. This new export order is once again a major endorsement of the high quality of our Millennium Brand PV Solar Energy Panels.

Plug Power Inc (PLUG) announced the sale of twelve GenCore® backup fuel cell systems to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The 5kW hydrogen-fueled GenCore fuel cell systems will be integrated with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment to provide critical backup power to DEP offices throughout the state of Florida. Plug Power was chosen for its ability to deliver a total fuel cell system solution that includes training, service, hydrogen delivery, and a system durable enough to endure extreme weather conditions.

Environmental Power Corp (EPG) is formally commissioning the first of its electricity generating anaerobic digester systems. This facility has been designed and constructed by Microgy, Inc., Environmental Power's principal operating subsidiary. The facility is believed by Microgy to produce substantially more electricity from a given quantity of animal and organic wastes than any other anaerobic digester system built for commercial purposes in the United States.

Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (IESV) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding that includes purchasing ITR's planned methane produced natural gas using anaerobic digester technology at participating diaries in southern Idaho. The agreement runs for 15 years and provides for Intermountain to purchase all of the pipeline quality methane gas produced by the digesters and delivered to the Intermountain distribution system by ITR over the life of the contract. Capstone Turbine Corp (CPTC) received orders for 2.4 megawatts of its 60-kilowatt microturbine systems from the company's Brooklyn sales and service office for customers in New York and New Jersey. These most recent orders are direct sales for Capstone, which will supply, commission and service the systems destined for several locations in the New York and New Jersey region. These units will fulfill various application requirements such as baseload power for daily energy cost reduction, combined heat and power (CHP), back-up power, direct exhaust for food processing and high-pressure steam generation.

Fuelcell Energy Inc (FCEL) dedicated a DFC300A power plant to provide electricity and hot water for the Sheraton brand's flagship property of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT - News), part of Starwood's commitment to green energy practices. The environmentally-friendly 250-kilowatt Direct FuelCell® (DFC®) power plant will provide approximately 10 percent of the hotel's electricity and hot water and supply back-up electricity for a segment of the 1,750-room Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in midtown Manhattan.

Hydrogenics Corp (HYGS) announced it is supplying fuel cell power modules to American Power Conversion Corporation (APCC), a leading global supplier of high availability systems for network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI), for its new InfraStruXure(TM) with Integrated Fuel Cells System.

DayStar Technologies Inc (DSTI) announced the signing of a purchase agreement with Blitzstrom, GmbH for Blitzstrom's purchase of DayStar's exclusive TerraFoil(TM) solar cells. Contingent on DayStar's ramp-up of its production capacity, the agreement calls for monthly delivery of TerraFoil(TM) escalating in volume through the end of 2008 with price based on a variable market- competitive pricing mechanism.
